Arrowtowner Alma Stevenson writes of her late husband and late father-in-law’s local farming exploits in her latest book,
Waggoner Jack and Us, launched last Sunday. Her father-in-law Jack Stevenson and husband Noel were both born on the Crown Terrace, where Jack farmed – he also had farmland around Lake Hayes’ Walnut Cottage, which the family still owns.
